Comprehensive evaluation and optimization of hormonal balance for both men and women, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy when appropriate. We address perimenopause, menopause, andropause, thyroid dysfunction, and metabolic hormone imbalances.
Metabolic & Weight Optimization
Evidence-based approaches to metabolic health and sustainable weight management, including GLP-1 therapies, nutritional strategies, and lifestyle medicine interventions tailored to your metabolism.
Longevity & Preventive Medicine
Proactive strategies to optimize healthspan and prevent age-related decline, including advanced diagnostic testing, nutritional optimization, and science-backed longevity protocols.
Functional Medicine Evaluation

Your journey begins with an in-depth initial consultation designed to thoroughly understand your health history, current concerns, and wellness goals. This comprehensive evaluation typically includes:
- Detailed review of your complete medical history
- Assessment of current symptoms and health challenges
- Evaluation of lifestyle factors, nutrition, stress, and sleep
- Review of previous laboratory results and imaging (when available)
- Discussion of your health goals and priorities
- Preliminary recommendations for diagnostic testing or treatment pathways
- Opportunity to ask questions and ensure our approach aligns with your needs
This initial consultation allows both you and Dr. Roelands to determine whether ongoing care through our health optimization program is appropriate for your needs.
Note: The initial consultation is a self-pay service and does not obligate you to continue with ongoing membership. It is a thorough medical evaluation that stands alone as a valuable health assessment.
Step 2: Annual Health Optimization Membership
For patients who wish to continue with ongoing routine care and wellness optimization, we offer an annual health maintenance membership. This subscription-based model provides comprehensive routine examinations and wellness consultations throughout the year.
What's Included in Your Annual Membership:
- Annual Comprehensive Physical Examination: Thorough routine examination including body composition analysis, vital signs assessment, and physical evaluation
- Follow-Up Wellness Consultations: Regular visits throughout the year to review progress, adjust protocols, and optimize your health plan
- Routine Communication: Non-urgent communication via secure patient portal for questions about wellness protocols, supplement usage, and routine matters (business hours, non-emergency)
- Laboratory Coordination: Ordering, coordination, and interpretation of specialty functional medicine testing (laboratory fees separate and billed at wholesale cost)
- Personalized Wellness Planning: Development and ongoing refinement of your individualized health optimization protocol
- Access to Nutraceuticals: Discounted pricing on high-quality supplements and nutraceutical products (purchased separately)
- Referral Coordination: Facilitation of specialist referrals when appropriate for your care
Important: The annual membership fee covers routine examinations and wellness consultations for conditions known in advance. These routine health maintenance services are federally excluded from Medicare and insurance coverage and will not be billed to any insurance plan.
If medically necessary services are identified during the course of routine care (such as diagnosis or treatment of a specific medical condition), those services may be billed to your insurance separately from the membership fee, subject to your plan's coverage, deductibles, and co-payments.

Yes, we offer both virtual and in-person appointments.
No, you do not need to leave your primary care provider. We are an integrative medical practice, meaning that we work in conjunction with conventional providers. In this case, we act as a consultant. We are not your primary care doctor, but rather our goal is to help you solve the puzzle as to why you are not feeling good as you continue to work with your doctor.

We do not process insurance out of state. So you would be considered a self pay cash patient.

We ask that patients first verify coverage for their ordered tests before having the labs performed.
Cancellation Policy
We require 72 business hours advance notice for initial appointments and 48 business hour notice for all other appointments. We reserve that time specifically for you and do not overbook.
$75 for IV's, $300 New Patient visit $100 for regular visits and aesthetics procedures booked.
