Functional Fee is what insurance does not cover. We are a unique practice and insurance does not cover functional medicine therefore we bill separately for this. This includes:

Insurance Plans
As a courtesy, we bill most PPO insurances and Medicare for the office visits. We do not perform benefit verification. Therefore, we ask that prospective patients become familiar with their insurance plan(s) and verify with their plan to determine if we are in-network or out-of-network.

Yes, we offer both virtual and in-person appointments.
No, you do not need to leave your primary care provider. We are an integrative medical practice, meaning that we work in conjunction with conventional providers. In this case, we act as a consultant. We are not your primary care doctor, but rather our goal is to help you solve the puzzle as to why you are not feeling good as you continue to work with your doctor.
We do accept insurance for the individual visits, but insurance does not pay for functional medicine. For the servives not covered we have a functional medicine fee. See the functional fee tab.

We spend time with you-each visit is 30 to 60 minutes.
Our functional medicine fee covers a comprehensive, personalized approach to your health care. This fee includes the time and expertise involved in thoroughly reviewing your medical history, lifestyle factors, and lab work, as well as designing an individualized treatment plan rooted in integrative and evidence-based medicine.
Unlike conventional visits that are often limited by insurance time constraints, this fee reflects the in-depth nature of functional medicine care, which includes:

Please note: This fee is separate from insurance billing and is not typically reimbursed by insurance. However, we believe this investment supports deeper healing, better outcomes, and a more proactive, root-cause approach to your wellness journey.
We do not process insurance out of state. So you would be considered a self pay cash patient.
Additional Costs
Some lab fees are strictly CASH only (out of pocket).
Cancellation Policy
We require 72 business hours advance notice for initial appointments and 48 business hour notice for all other appointments. We reserve that time specifically for you and do not overbook.
$75 for IV's, $300 New Patient visit $100 for regular visits and aesthetics procedures booked.
We require a 15 day notice to cancel membership
