Meet Our Team of Experts
Elise Harlow
Registered Dietician
My name is Elise and I am a registered dietitian with a master of science degree in nutritional sciences and the founder of The Flourished Table, an online nutrition coaching and consulting business. I have a passion for helping people to use the power of food to live healthier lives. I believe the key to making sustainable changes is to find the balance between enjoying food while also embracing the power of good nutrition.
Many people believe that healthy eating means they should restrict delicious foods. I feel passionate about showing people that these two things are not mutually exclusive.
Although I am a Registered Dietitian by trade, I am human first. Humans are not meant to be perfect. The same goes for food. There is no one perfect way to eat. I believe enjoying your food is just as important as the nutrients in it.
My goal is to help others make sustainable changes that include food that is both enjoyable and nutritious. Whether you are trying to reach a healthy weight, support and balance your hormones, increase your energy, or improve your mental health, good food can help and I would love to show you how!
Elizabeth Carranza
Family Nurse Practitioner
With nearly a decade of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and more recently becoming board-certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients. My approach to care, whether working with children or adults, is rooted in holistic principles that emphasize the importance of a balanced diet, healthy lifestyle, and targeted supplements to help individuals achieve their optimal health. I firmly believe that, with the right guidance, knowledge, and tools, people have the power to heal and empower themselves.
Over the years, I’ve found myself particularly drawn to mental health, especially as I’ve seen a growing need in my community. I’ve worked with many women who experienced their first bouts of anxiety or depression during their perimenopausal years. Through this, I discovered the significant link between hormones and mental well-being.
My journey with adenomyosis also brought me closer to this work. I found relief and healing by balancing my hormones with a combination of herbs and hormone replacement therapy, which ignited my passion for supporting women in similar situations.
I’m deeply committed to women’s health, focusing on a holistic approach that looks at the whole person. I believe in addressing the root causes of health issues and finding solutions that nurture both body and mind.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking with my family. I believe the heart of a home starts in the kitchen and love creating memories with my kids around food. I also love gardening, hiking, and spending quality time with my family and our dog, Canelo.
